Alan has more than 25 years of accounting and leadership experience, including working at domestic and international public accounting firms.  He brings valuable accounting experience and administrative focus to HLB.  Alan previously owned and operated a staffing firm, focusing primarily on accounting candidates.  Since joining HLB, Alan has been instrumental in developing the firm's infrastructure, image and culture.  During the numerous years of sustained growth, his focus has been strategic in nature as he guides and coaches the partner team to meet the firm’s strategic goals.  Key components of his Managing Partner role include ongoing management team leadership development, partner goal setting, projecting and monitoring firm financial performance and human capital initiatives planning.
